1) What is your pickup and delivery schedule across Northern Ontario?
We service the Highway 11 corridor from New Liskeard to Longlac as well as making daily trips to Timmins.
2) How does the mat rental work?
The mat rental keeps your entrance clean and safe for your customers or employees. North Star Linen will deliver the mats for a week period and return the following week to exchange the soiled mats for clean ones for a weekly fee.
We can exchange the mats on a bi-weekly basis and have seasonal contracts for clients who require mats only for the winter months.
3) Why would I want to buy or rent my uniforms or coveralls from North Star Linen?
You may need uniforms. What you don’t need is everything that comes with it. The big up-front cost, on-going cleaning and maintenance, tedious repairs, inventory, employee size changes, ordering replacements, keeping track of expenses by employee, and answering all the questions from your employees. Our rental and purchase programs were created to serve the needs of customers like you. We offer a wide range of industrial, commercial, and institutional uniforms and textiles.
4) How does the cover-all/uniform rental program work?
We supply an inventory of 5 pieces per employee, for a total of 2 changes per week. Two uniforms are in your employees’ locker, 2 are being serviced by North star Linen and the fifth set is the one that is worn on on the day of the uniform exchange. In this way, we do not need to disturb your business during the exchange process.
5) Why would you want to use the North Star Linen locker system?
The lockers are to facilitate the distribution of the coveralls or uniforms, each employee gets his own shelf and they are the only one who have access exept for our route rep. This allows us to exchange and organize the distribution of the garment in a secure fashion so that no other workers have access to the garments.
6) If we would like to have something cleaned that is not part of the rental what should we do?
Make sure this is not mixed in with the rental items and mark the items clearly so the route rep can make a special request. We will clean it and have a separate invoice for the items.
7) Tell me more about your protective wear and products.
We offer a complete line of Safety Garments. These fabrics are lightweight, durable and have been rigorously tested for resistance to flash fires, electrical arcs, water and oil spills. All garments are available with reflective striping for maximum visibility.
